1840s Daguerreotype Pretty Smiling Woman Possible Rel of ALVIN ADAMS Plumbe Shew gem Original daguerreotype of a babySixth plate daguerreotype of a pretty woman with a slight smile. She is not identified, but this was part of a group of daguerreotypes that included a Southworth and Hawes dag of Alvin Adams (see my other listing), so it's very possible she was a relative, possibly his wife. Underside of the glass is very dirty, but the original seals are intact and the plate is in excellent condition. Case covers are separated.
